The CLIMATEFIT project is pleased to invite you to the fourth and final webinar of the European Network of Local Resilience Taskforces (EUNLRT), taking place online on 17 November 2026 from 10:00 to 11:30 CET.
How can territories turn their climate adaptation needs into concrete investment opportunities? What can be learned from the experience of Local Resilience Taskforces, and which resources can help public authorities and financial actors continue this work?
Entitled “Local Resilience in Practice: Lessons and Tools for Adaptation Finance”, this final webinar will bring together the main lessons from the EUNLRT series and showcase practical resources developed through CLIMATEFIT.
The webinar will open with a keynote by Lorenzo Pezzati, a member of CLIMATEFIT’s Taskforce of Innovation Management (TIM), who will reflect on local resilience action, adaptation investment and future perspectives.
The first session will focus on learning from Local Resilience Taskforces (LRTs). Drawing on the experiences of territories involved in the CLIMATEFIT replication programme, the discussion will examine how LRTs can be established, strengthened and expanded, as well as how they can support cooperation between public authorities, Financing & Investment Entities and other territorial stakeholders.
The second session will explore the practical legacy of CLIMATEFIT and present resources that territories and financial actors can continue to use, including:
- the CLIMATEFIT Adaptation Finance Platform (One-Stop Shop);
- the CLIMATEFIT E-Learning Platform on climate adaptation finance;
- the Incentive Mechanism Database and Selection Tool.
Interactive exchanges will allow participants to consider which resources best respond to their own needs and to share the remaining challenges they face in moving from resilience planning to investment and implementation.
The webinar is particularly relevant for public authorities, Financing & Investment Entities, regional and local organisations, development and climate agencies, practitioners and other stakeholders working on climate adaptation and resilience finance.
