As part of the CLIMATEFIT–PIISA joint webinar series, this session will explore how urban greening can enhance climate resilience by bridging policies, finance, and insurance. Drawing on experiences from European cities and research initiatives, the event will present innovative funding and financing approaches for nature-based solutions (from green roofs to urban reforestation) and discuss how insurance mechanisms can support adaptation at local level.
