What is Project Result 4?

Project Result 4 develops CLIMATEFIT’s dedicated pathway for Financial & Investment Entities (FIEs) to accelerate climate adaptation finance.

It supports financial actors in better understanding adaptation-related risks, opportunities and incentives, and in identifying suitable investment concepts, financing mechanisms and structuring solutions aligned with territorial needs.

PR4 complements the Public Authority-focused work developed under PR3 by providing the finance-side perspective necessary to make adaptation investment plans bankable and scalable.

Rather than proposing abstract financial theory, this result delivers practical guidance, tested concepts and structured tools designed for real-world financial decision-making and collaboration with Public Authorities.
